Chilwell Road Church raises £9,500 for Casa Alianza
The Chilwell Road Methodist Church in Beeston, have celebrated raising more than £9,500.00 for Casa Alianza, their nominated Charity for 2009.
The Church supported Casa Alianza, which helps street children in Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala and Nicaragua, by holding fund-raising events throughout 2009.
The Mayor of Broxtowe, Councillor John Longdon presented Fred Shortland, of Casa Alianza with the donation during the church's Annual benevolent service.
